Speculative

The inspiration of squirrel protein bars came mainly from the bolt of energy my dog gets whenever she sees a squirrel. Squirrels love nuts and seeds, high in protein and calories they keep us going and are great as quick snacks.

I’ve always been a fan of fun packaging, and I think they’re are people who are willing to pay a bit more for fun packaging from small companies, especially when they offer simple natural ingredients. When designing the bars I wanted to focus on simplicity, using negative space and simple blocked out illustrations. I find that when packaging is simple we assume the contents are less processed, purer, and more legible.
